I went to daiwa’s corp.day and met this Korean company. NK co. makessome kind of water ballast treatment system for ships. I don’t get it, but it’s always pleasure meeting ship building related Korean firm at Daiwa’s new building. Why? First, those cuties at Daiwa are just amazing. They are so stunning that challenges your sexual fantasies and broaden your imagination universe. For a short while, I thought I was visiting a model agency. Second, Koreans are very proud of their ships. When it comes to shipbuilding or shipbuilding related business, their eyes immediately lighten up. Korean shipbuilders are always so passionate. Some IR personals are good communicators, but you don’t sense that passion for their companies. It’s ok to be calm. But investors are like baseball fans, we all need to be inspired!
信任別人前,要有什麼樣的特質? 被迫信任跟自己自發性的信任有著完全不同的意義.By default我們都信任自己,但是不見得對自己誠實.因為面子等原因,人會自動假裝自己不懂的東西.或很自然接受週邊或上一代傳下來的偏見, 自然迫使自己不要去懷疑.
當一個對自己不誠實的人,試著給另一個人自己的信任是很不切實際.也可以說是被迫信任.也許是自己朋友,同事,甚至家人.
B是我見過最誠實的老闆.他會咬指夾辦公室沒有名校證書,倒是有一張他當年在越南的戰友照片.當年的米兵如果不懂裝懂,不分享情報,不把陣亡的同伴背回營,很容易下個陣亡的就是自己. B最酷的地方就是他非常誠實.覺得怪的地方絕對不會打馬虎眼.所以造成一個現象,要他相信一個邏輯前,會把許多事情簡易化讓他可以快速了解,而在投資上,這是完全相反的想法,大多數的投資邏輯都追求完整,把事情複雜化,100頁的報告一定比只有一頁報告還要有可性度. 有很多數字看起來就比沒有數字好.
真正的戰爭中才不來這套. 前陣子他把幾個投資部的操盤手都叫過去.對我們說…
